What is MakoStars?
MakoStars is an English language company, founded in Tokyo, Japan in 2015.
What services does MakoStars offer?
We provide products and services to help teachers and learners of English. We are a reseller of English learning materials, we provide English language lessons, training and resources. Our related websites are:

Does MakoStars resell items other than books?
We are looking to provide other educational-related materials including workbooks, games, toys, etc… Please contact us if you are interested in working with us.
Shipping-Related
How long will it take to get my order?
Physical productgs shipped within Japan are usually shipped the following business day after an order is received. Shipping within Japan is usually 2-3 days.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We use Japan Post and Yamato Transport.
Where is your warehouse?
Our main distribution center is in Tokyo. We also use 3rd party warehouses that are located in locations around the country.
Do you ship outside Japan?
We ship outside Japan, primarily to countries in the Asia region. Please contact us at: info@makostars.com and provide us with the details of your request.
Product-Related
Can I return my product?
Physical products can be returned. Digital products cannot. We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process.
Can I get my order gift-wrapped?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a gift-wrapping service.
Where does MakoStars get their products?
We resell books from well-known publishers and brands such as:
- Hachette Book Group
- Penguin Random House
- Scholastic Inc.
- Simon & Schuster Inc.
We are looking to work with other brands as well.
Are the products new or used?
We only sell new products received from the publisher, brand or distributor. However, because we normally import directly, the products may experience slight damage on the crease, cover or edges. Please note, we will still sell items in these conditions to customers. Returning these products to our overseas suppliers is not environmentally-friendly.
